eBook of Eicha (Lamentations)

There are many people who don't understand what the loss of the Temple is all about. We have therefore published a special Israel365 commentary on the Book of Lamentations that explains not only the devastating loss of the Temple, but explains how all Jewish tragedies and suffering throughout the generations, including the Holocaust, are deeply linked to the Temple in Jerusalem and the 9th of Av. Our eBook ofLamentations also contains audio and video recordings of a cantor chanting the ancient texts in the traditional mournful Hebrew tune so that you can feel the pain of the Jewish people and fully experience the somber mood of the 9th of Av.

Me too, I believe the Messiah will return while I am alive and reading this my hopes are really strengthened. What a joy to end these Lamentations over Israel as a nation, over Jews as God's people and over Jerusalem as God's holy city when Messiah returns! Come back Lord, Come back! We lament together with Jews all over the world. Won't You remember mercy and come back!

I feel so encouraged to know that Jews still mourn for the destructiuon of the temple to date.

I'm a 70 year old Christian, I have never heard that Jewish tradition teaches that the Messiah will be born on the 9th of Av, this is absolutely amazing to know, I have to ask other people if they know about this. I have felt since I was a young boy that I would be alive when the Messiah returned, the older I became the stronger that feeling has been, some how I just knew that He would return in my life time. After reading this article I know that His return could be even closer than I realized.
