Half Shekel Coin Replica Keychain
This amazing half shekel coin keychain is an adaptation of the artifact discovered at the Temple Mount Sifting Operation at Emek Tzurim on the Mount of Olives and dates to the years 66/67 CE. It is adorned with one side of the ancient half shekel coin, which was given as an annual gift by every Jewish male in the Temple and was used in circulation during the Jewish Great Revolt against Rome. On this side of the coin one can see three pomegranates and in ancient Hebrew script the words "Holy Jerusalem." (On the other side of the coin the words "Half Shekel" are inscribed and a chalice with the Hebrew letter "Aleph" above it marks the first year of the rebellion.)
